I wish I had more of those, it’s been quite some time since I’ve seen one. The last one I saw was about 1 year and a half ago, a big one, that a few months ago I found one about that size in a spider web in my basement. The last month and a half I’ve seen way more silverfish than I’ve ever seen here, and am noticing a few extra holes in some of my shirts. Friggin silverfish. Sure, my wife would freak out if she saw one, so it’s probably not terrible I haven’t seen them recently, but I found a silverfish in my cereal the other day so I’m at the point of considering importing one or two.

mhm :) I live in a country where all spiders are cool (no venom), and only one snake with venom, but still.. spiders are cool :) The largest spider you’ll ever find here is 3”s long if you count the legs :)

Just sitting there eating my mini wheats, look down in the bowl and see a clump that looks suspicious. Pulled it out, and yep, it was one of these bastards:

I’m not a huge fan of house centipedes myself, but I am so done with silverfish at this point, and pretty much the only thing the house centipedes eat are silverfish. It was really the cereal thing that did it for me.

That little critter is a house centipede, and a small one at that. We get them sometimes, the bodies can be over an inch. Think of it like a normal centipede riding on jacked up suspension. They are some of the fastest, creepiest fuckers you’ll see, but as has been said, they eat spiders and basically every other creepy bug you might find in your house.

Yep, we got those too. Like sm70 said, they can get big. We have a LOT of spiders this year, I may have been too effective in stepping on these guys. The next one gets a pass, but only if he’s little, like yours was.
